Mr T CostumeI Pity The Fool . . .Mr T, best known for his role as Sergeant Bosco Albert "B. A." (Bad Attitude) Baracus in The A Team series which aired from 1983 to 1987, is both a fascinating character in The A Team series and in real life as well. Of the A Team members, only Mr T has such an immediately recognizable look and that's probably why you don't see any Murdock, Templeton "Faceman" Peck, or Hannibal Smith costumes. He's just got such a distinctive look and such an amazing presence, that all you need to do is dress remotely like Mr T and EVERYONE, and I mean everyone, knows who you are.
Watch a few episodes of the A Team, maybe go check out the movie, or at least look at a few Mr T pictures to get his facial expressions down and practice your Mr T accent and sayings. It is amazing what this simple wig does. Suddenly, you are Mr T! You are a bad ass!
You might also add a bit of gold jewelry, maybe
a few
Inexpensive Big Gold Chains To help complete the look, add a vest. A jean jacket with the sleeves cut off will do. Underneath wear a long sleeved t-shirt or nothing. Camouflage pants, maybe khakis, or a pair of beat up jeans, and the biggest belt you can find will add a lot too. Shoes are simple. You really want boots, work style boots.
Now you can skip all this and just do
the inexpensive
Mr T Wig A Mr T Halloween costume is a great idea, but you can dress like Mr T anytime. Any costume party or event will do. My favorite is to show up dressed as Mr T to non costume parties and insist I was told it was a costume party. Now obviously Mr T is a real person, and B.A. Baracus is a character in a series and a movie, although they will be inextricably linked in many of our minds . He was born on May 21, 1952 in Chicago, the youngest son of a 12 child family, and his father was a minister. Not surprisingly, he originally had a different name, Laurence Tureaud.
Besides the television series The
A-Team, he also played a boxer named
Clubber Lang in the film Rocky III, and
he has also appeared as a professional
wrestler. He also had a short lived
reality show, known by his trademark
phrase "I Pity The Fool" and has many
other TV credits. Mr T is a class act.
